About this program

Aim: The aim of this program is to help you plan your presentations. It will:

  1. help you to plan your presentation
  2. help you to write your presentation
  3. produce the following:
    • a script, which you can save and print out using your browser's File menu.
    • printable note cards, which you can save and print out using your browser's File menu.
    • a slide show, which you can save to your computer using the browser's File > Save menu.
    • and speak your presentation to you. You can choose a  male or female voice.

To move presentation planner text to PowerPoint:
  • Click the 'Make My Presentation Script' button
  • Copy and paste the text to a text file, but save it as HTML
  • Launch PowerPoint. Click the arrow under "New Slide" on the "Home" tab.
  • Select "Slides from Outline" at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
  • Navigate to your HTML file and double-click to insert it into PowerPoint. PowerPoint will insert the text into slides in the presentation.

Text-to-Speech Dialog Wizard

The Text-to-Speech Wizard can create a monologue (such as a presentation) or a conversation dialog. You can have up to 10 conversational moves with different voices.
  1. Enter the name for each speaker in the left column, then write in the conversation text you want spoken. Select the appropriate voice for each speaker.
  2. The whole dialog will then be sent to the speech engine and recorded as separate audio files for each speaker move in the conversation.
  3. The HTML page generated by the wizard will then be sent back.
