This page aims to help you to use English more effectively by avoiding the
over use of 'get'.
Replace the word get or the expression with get with a more appropriate word
from the list below. Change the form of the verb where necessary.

of losing her job. 3. The economic outlook is expected to (get
better) in the
coming months.4. The government hopes to (get rid of) the problem by the end of
