Last summer, my family and I visited the swimming pool at Margate. We almost paid £20.00 for a family ticket. Carved out of the natural rock, we enjoyed a swim in the sea water. To swim to the sea wall, the icy water caused a problem. At only 10 degrees centigrade, the temperature made me shiver. However, squealing and splashing in the shallows, I enjoyed watching the children. They seemed impervious to the cold. Everyone had an enjoyable time and we nearly spent two hours in the water.
