restrictive e.g. Restrictive rules and regulations should not be too general. |
permission (uncountable noun) e.g. I did not give you permission to do this. |
to permit e.g. We should not permit students to use mobile phones in class. |
permissive e.g. Modern society is too permissive, these things would not have been allowed when I was young! |
a promotion (countable noun) e.g. He has been awarded a promotion. |
to promote e.g. I want to promote our product globally. |
well-promoted e.g. Their leading product is very well-promoted. |
