Introduction:
This task is for you to practise matching adjectives that end in suffixes with
nouns that collocate.
Some suffixes can be used to create or coin new words.
Thus, a stress-free life is a life without any stress and a tax-free shop is a
shop where there is no tax. Other common examples include:
-led; e.g. community-led, technology-led, market-led, customer-led, meaning that something is the leader or
organiser, or the leading or organising principle, so a market-led
company will produce products and services that their customer research shows
that consumers want, but a technology-led company will use its leading
technology to produce high-tech products that customers could not previously
imagine.
